Ijoya Rumble Reward Winner with One Thousand Dollar Cash Prize
Following a call for entry into the Ijoya Rumble Dance Festival from youths across Lagos state, the project attracted over 2,000 spectators and performances at the inaugural edition of the dance festival.
The colourful event, which was held at the indoor sports hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, featured talented dancers from across the state for the grand prize of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) cash prize.
The dance stage weighed the energies of determined dancers, giving everyone who wanted to show off their skills an equal chance.
The free-to-enter dance contest received entries via the official Ijoya Rumble social media pages and selection was done both virtually and on-site. Part of the highlight of the day was the sumptuous meals served by Dufil Food Manufacturers of Indomie Noodles, providing hot plates of noodles to everyone at the venue, a commitment as partners of the Ijoya Rumble Dance Festival.
The atmosphere was tense with high competition spirit oozing from the participants and the energetic audience rooting for their preferred team.
Serving as quality judges were entertainment industry personalities such as DJ Humility, MC Chris Yarn, and Ambassador Felix Duke who enjoyed their roles but knew they were up to the tough job of selecting teams in the elimination rounds and deciding the winning team.
Every contest must have a winner! However, the dancers displayed raw, unique talent, making it tougher for the judges to scrutinize every solo or group performance. Finally, after 60+ dogged dancers, the judges announced Star Kids Dance Academy as the winner of the Ijoya Rumble Dance Festival 2022.
Organized by Real Made in Africa Concept; an independent media entertainment, advertising, producing, and promoting organization that aims to empower, engage, and significantly reward the talents of Nigerian youths. Mr. Churchill Edore Senior Partner and co-producer of Ijoya Rumble, mentioned the need to reward and engage youthful talents. He further encouraged people to anticipate the grand event scheduled to take place in December 2022, which promises to be breathtaking and even more rewarding.
